Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy works on the basis that we are each individual in our biochemical and genetic makeup, and therefore a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work when identifying food and nutritional needs.  Food is recognised as Medicine – wholefoods have vitality, and there are three types of food:

  • Biogenic foods – provide the body with the nourishing nutrients it requires, thus bringing energy to strengthen the revitalise the body.
  • Biostatic foods – will neither benefit or harm the body, and can therefore only be considered as taking up space in our digestive tract.
  • Bioacidic foods – will weaken and deplete the body of energy.  These are foods which are either unsuitable for you due to a sensitivity/intolerance, or they are toxic and of no nutritional value.

A Nutritional Therapy session will involve a review of your existing food intake, muscle testing of the above three categories of foods and, establishing if food sensitivities exist and identifying nutritional needs.  You will be provided with food and nutrient specific information relevant to your needs.

onsultations are available at the clinic, on-line/audio or over the telephone.  For more information on this is service, please do give me a call on .
